Hellebore

The WI Camera Group stayed local again this month, and spent a happy hour taking pictures of flowers at the local garden centre. Outside were benches of daffodils, anemones and these unusual hellebores. Inside the orchids were beautiful but mostly wrapped in plastic sleeves.
Having photographed everything possible from every angle we retired to the cafe for a good chat, about our cameras and about how we were going to exhibit our pictures at the April WI meeting. Having exhausted those two topics, we chatted about WI, the springs still gushing just along the road and just life in general. We are not very serious photographers, we just enjoy an afternoon out once a month when we are able to take photographs without being chivvied and having a good chat with like minded people over a cup of tea.
