THE SWAN PAIR IN THE POND

are in love. They now have the pond to themselves, the young ones of his former relation are all gone. It is however still busy in the pond, there are ducks, coots, the gulls and moorhens, and also a pair of Nile geese.
I walked around and had wanted to try to take pictures of the sea of daffodils that each year appear in a large field, the lightrail crosses it.
No way I could take a decent picture of the cheerful yellow flowers.
After lunch a wonderful long walk along the beach. A bit too long? But the sun shone so bright, the sea had that mediterranean colour and the sky seemed envious of that shade.
Still tired of the day and yesterdays journey.
Mischa came to join us for the meal, I had made gnocchi with sugarsnaps and chives and several kinds of mushrooms. A succes!
