Not a great photo, but today I'm a week into my running regime and I feel pretty good about it.
I haven't done any running since high school. I was spectacularly rubbish at it back then, and probably won't be great at it now, but I think this is a cheaper and less boring option than going to a gym. There's also something liberating about being able to travel distances just using your own foot power.
My 30th birthday is a few months away so I'm probably having some kind of anti-ageing oh-my-gawd-I'm-a-heifer type crisis, but I'd like to drop a dress size and avoid bingo-wings and other such nasties for a few more years!
