I made it
For the first time EVER I made it to my meeting in Braintree without getting lost.
As I had built in a HUGE amount of time to allow for being lost, even the 30 minute traffic jam did not make me late.
I was able to enjoy a quick walk around the public gardens near to the car park ahead of my meeting.
Within the garden, this is the John Ray Garden. It was opened by David Bellamy in 1986
John Ray was born in Black Notley in 1627 and believed that we all have a duty to conserve the environment.
I think he might have enjoyed this spot this morning. I certainly did. It was very peaceful. I did go through the gate and take some pictures of the, still frosty, plants. I liked this wider shot in the end though.
