Salami

The boys would live on salami and olives if they could. I remember Charlie's first ever Christmas list had a jar of olives on it. He got them. I also remember their eColi infection passing unnoticed for an extra day because the day before Charlie (18 months old) had stolen and eaten an entire jar of olives from the pantry. Including the brine.

I saw this little poster today - it really made me stop and think.

And I've got a painful eye. I'm sure it didn't hurt until the consultant kept asking me if I wasn't absolutely sure it wasn't sore or itchy or scratchy on Monday...

This is why I avoid doctors.
