To the Moon
Art thou pale for weariness
Of climbing heaven and gazing on the earth,
Wandering companionless
Among the stars that have a different birth,
And ever changing, like a Joyless eye
That finds no object worth its constancy?
By Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822)
Wordstruck, I searched for somebody else's beautiful words about the moon. I Googled New Moon and realised I have been living on another planet. All I got were references to someone called Stephanie Meyer and her Twilight saga. I then got 'pale for weariness' trying to find out what it was all about and happily re-Googled and settled on Shelley.
