To Line 'em up.

For me this is one of the first substantive jobs of the gardening year. To get out the seed potatoes and get them "chitting"

These are my own potatoes saved from last year. Each one was wrapped in newspaper and placed in bag and suspended from the ceiling in the garage. This is to keep them away from mice.

So here they see the first light of day in our porch.

From left to right they are:- Lady Balfour (early). Rooster (very good roasted!) and Pentland Hawk (maincrop)

One can now look forward to the spring with eager anticipation!
