In Search Of Mapperley (1)

There's not a lot of local history stuff about Mapperley but there are three volumes of John Tanner's 'In Search Of Mapperley' which trace the history of some of the buildings on Woodborough Road, which runs from Huntingdon Street in the centre of Nottingham out through Mapperley itself to Mapperley Plains where it becomes Plains Road. Mr. Tanner probably missed this particular gem but I've been meaning to get off the bus early and blip it for quite a while now. I was down at the doctors this morning though (routine tests and stuff) so I took the opportunity to have a wander round. Then this afternoon I was down in Carlton for some stock training, so never let it be said that I don't get out and about...!
