The apple trees are waking up

Apparently the phrase "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" originated in Wales in the 19th century.

I've just read that apple trees originated in Central Asia - which I didn't know.

Today wasn't about apples though. Today was all about back-breaking digging and weeding. I looked around when I finished at 6pm this evening and wasn't entirely sure what I achieved. It looked like I'd just created more mess.

I am so so knackered now.
