Fish & Chips

Spent a lot of today driving or photocopying - neither very conducive to blipping. The journeying and printing were all in aid of some training I led tonight. Think it went OK - it was fun any way.

Whilst driving back from my meeting I saw this patriotic fish & chip sign. It is at the bottom of the road that I lived on as a child - my dad only moved from the family home 4 months ago.

To get the photo I had to cross the road using a pelican. Brought back memories of that crossing being a zebra - when I was 19 I got knocked off my feet there by a motorbike - it went on the outside of the bus that had stopped to let me cross. . I wasn't hurt, although I was taken to recover in the off license & then in an ambulance. Girl on the pillion broke her arm - she was very upset as her husband didn't know about her affair with the motorcyclist! All a very long time ago.

I only got one blip of the sign then someone turned the lights out! Think I'll do the same now.
