A cross in my pocket

I've had a cross in my pocket for a while now.

This is one of my favourite verses.

Today has seen a landmark for me. A year ago today I met a wonderful man and fell in love immediately, he was kind, caring and compassionate. Everything he should have been. We thought he would make everything right but unfortunately he was not able to but he did his best to try.

He wasn't my husband and I had no extra marital relations, he was one of the many medical professionals I met along the way but one who left a lasting impression with his kindness, compassion and wonderful manner with his patients.

So with my cross in my pocket I'll carry on with my landmarks.
