Gilbraltar Rock

After the storms of the last two days in Christchurch, and with the appearance of the sun, it was time to be out in the great outdoors again!

We spent a few hours on the Crater Rim Track. We walked by Gibraltar Rock, a climbing crag, with a backdrop of the towns of Tai Tapu and Lincoln, and the Canterbury Plains. The storms have dropped some snow on the Taylor Range (on the left) and Mt Hutt, adding a nice touch to the scene.
