So very ill

(Posting this on Thursday)

This was as much as I could manage.

I'd caught the virus that's plagued Nick since Sunday night and it was incredibly unpleasant.

I woke at 4.15am and it all started not long after that and it felt like the longest day ever. In and out of sleep, very achey joints, couldn't keep water down, headache from dehydration, fever, boredom... Me and Nick did our best to look after each other.

He had a trip to the doctors late morning and they said he had a migraine on top of the nastiness.

That explains why his has lasted for days when mine is over after 24 hours.

I'm actually going to attempt to eat some toast....
