Crossing Over

A day of two halves.

This morning Mrs42 and I went to the big blueandyellow shop and bought ourselves a lovely rug for our newley decorated spare room and then on to curtain shopping. Never been curtain shopping before! Quite surreal really. This is Mrs42 crossing the bridge to the St James centre.

A quick Greggs (bakers for those not familiar with the purveyor of fatty pies and pastries) and then off to meet one of my suppliers for the second part of my day - hospitality at Murrayfield for the Scotland v Australia rugby match.

Free bar, three course dinner, speeches from Gavin Hastings (that tart of Scottish rugby) and some other (younger) rugby players and then a fab game of rugby.

... and - would you believe it SCOTLAND WON! First time since 1982.

Now just nursing the sort of hangover you get from drinking in the middle of the day before eating anything! But its been a great day :-)

LOTD: How could I not link to Acronymphomania's International Rescue blip - some nutty guys on a stag do at Murrayfield!
