Azelia

I stepped outside the front door, before breakfast this morning. Attracted by what was likely to be the best light of the day I captured this little bud. Note that the spiders have been at work.
Once this Azelia is in full leaf it's difficult to capture, as there's so little contrast in the vivid red leaves.
Another indication of the rich promise to come over the next few weeks.
