Victoria and William
We did not have to wait too long at the orthodontist and so we had coffee (no cake for me) before I took Victoria back to school. Yesterday I said I might blip her brace, but I have spared you that and instead you have a picture of the GOG with his favourite granddaughter, discussing maths, physics or some such topic as well as putting the world to rights as usual.
This afternoon I have spent an hour and a half trying to sort out our gas bill, thirty minutes of that was speaking to someone on the telephone who clearly did not understand what I was talking about. I had an email to say my estimated online bill was ready, it was clearly over estimated, so we read the meter and I entered the new reading. We had used 1494 units less than the estimated bill, but the price jumped by over £120 on the estimation; I rang them. Thirty minutes later the bill had jumped by another £20! The person I spoke to said he would raise a query and indicated that it was because I could not pay the bill; not true. While I was on the telephone, the last two bills, paid in November and August 2013 disappeared from my account; I have emailed them asking why these have been removed. I have also asked, when they state on their website that their gas prices have gone down, why my gas bill is just under £1000, double what it was last February!
