Having seen a nice dawn shot taken from a similar position yesterday, I've tried to capture my own view of Kettletoft over Backaskaill Bay. Orkney Ferries has returned to the Winter timetable now that the refit period has ended. As a consequence, this mornings sailing departed two hours later in the morning, by which time the sun had well and truly made hay.

If only I'd had a tin of Quality Street on board. I could have used one of the wrappers as a filter. Another lesson learned.
