Looking up at Hellebore
Last night brought some success, a couple of second places in the reflections set subject and flora and fauna categories and a win the flora and fauna section with one of my water vole photos. It was rescued from stray twigs thanks to some of the tips that Glyn Dewis gave in his talk at the Photography Show. (Our club has free editing rules for this section rather than the strictness of pure natural history)
I got some really positive feedback on my other entries to. It was nice to have a judge who was constructive in his criticism and enthusiastic about the task. It wasn't an easy one as the standard at our club has really improved over the last few years and it's great to see our newer members developing and starting to win too.
No sunset tonight, so here's another attempt at the Hellebore photographed from underneath, I rather liked the way it turned out.
Hope you've had a good day. I'm on a training course for work tomorrow at a rather lovely country house. Will be a good start to the weekend.
