You see, there are those who love
and must meet in order to pass each other by
near and distant as if they stood at a mirror
they write letters that are hot and cold
they part like flowers tossed away in laughter
forever ignorant why it must be so
there are those who will find each other even in the dark
only to pass by because they daren't meet
so pure and peaceful as when it begins to snow
