Too much

I had no concept of how many chick peas were in a 500g bag. Apparently, when you soak them overnight, they more than double, so they filled (to overflowing) the soup pot that is sitting beside the world's biggest batch of houmous. (Which took a ton of lemon juice and could still do with more!)

Nearly burned out the motor on my hand blender squidging them down. Next time I'm using a potato masher first!!!
