Crocus pestalozzae, one of the smallest flowered species but a little jewel, proving that small is indeed beautiful. Easy to cultivate, it's small size means it needs careful siting. It looks good, and is safe, as here, in a trough. I must remember to add a few more when I re-pot this year.

Not many more crocus days left this Spring so it's back to what I know best today!
