NPG - new members tour

I surprised myself and went out after work to a new members tour at the National Portrait Gallery - we learned about the origins of the gallery (gift from a philanthropist, with the proviso of a central London location) and the earliest, rarest and most popular works. Now I'll be able to enjoy my visits even more - plus 10% off in the shop and cafes. The cafe on the 3rd floor apparently has amazing views of 22 London landmarks - Bluebellsea, let's have lunch there on the 20th???
