Nature's crystal ball

At about age 8-12 I loved stones, minerals and (semi-)gems. All those bright, shiny colours in different shapes simply amazed me. If I remember well, this what I thought was a marcasite (but thx to gen2 I now know it isn't) was a gift from my parents during a holiday in Austria at age 9.

Nice how the warm memories come back with it too…
