Thank you for your patience

You can't see it here, but that's what the sign says on the barrier that this fella is holding - "Caution - moving vehicles. Thank you for your patience." He was blocking off the pavement in Cannon Street while this big blue truck was heading into a construction site there. I shot this 'from the hip,' hence the wonky angle and funky crop. I quite like the way it turned out, though!

Busy day at work with a meeting right through lunch. It wasn't until I'd been back at my desk for a while afterwards that I realised I hadn't had any sort of break. Ah well.

Another brief visit from Richard this evening to discuss the work that's starting on our flat next week. There's going to be a lot of mess and disruption, but we're really looking forward to it all being done! :)
