'I love my Daddy'

I had another lazy day today, rearranging furniture and doing admin (well clearing up dog poo from the garden!) and was interrupted for half an hour by work. Philip, the neighbour, asked if he could take Lottie out for a walk. I prepared a marvellous slow cooked belly pork roast with organic veggies for dinner. I got the pork from a local farm shop where you can see the piggies running round the field and in the stables. So, it is proper, locally sourced meat and was totally delicious. The crackling was excellent, if I say so myself. Thanks Jamie!

I am sad to report that we watched the last two episodes of Breaking Bad tonight. Explosive and fantastic. I am utterly bereft now. What am I going to do without my daily hit of Jesse Pinkman, yo? We are going to start the Sopranos in a couple of weeks time....

Lottie was bouncing madly around, squeaking and flinging Monkey about in front of Crufts tonight. She kept going round the back of the telly to find the dogs! It was hilarious. Here she is with her 'Dad' deep in conversation. She does this funny head turning radar move as though she is trying to tune into what he is saying. Of course, he says lots of rude words in a deadpan voice, which makes it even funnier.

She goes home tomorrow evening. I've sent her 'Mum' an email every day with a photo so that she would not miss her as much. I've also bought her mum an Airdale card and a silly pressie to say thank you for letting me borrow her. I'm going to miss her.
