Beebies Birthdays

Arlo has decided he wants to invite all his 'friends' at Cbeebies to his 6th birthday party in May. He's also decided he'll put the invitation in with the 'card you'll be making for me, Mummy'.

We've been watching Cbeebies since he was 3 months old and he's finally twigged that its the parents that send the birthday cards in. He barely even bleeding watches the channel anymore but his message was loud and clear. I am to send a birthday card into Cbeebies in the hopes it gets shown on his birthday.

Fair enough. Well...sort of.

Now that Arlo's twigged - a certain little lady who's birthday is a fortnight earlier than her brother has also twigged - and so, here I am. I couldn't possibly make a card for Arlo without making one for his sister.

I'd pretend I was having a rubbish time, but really - cutting and glueing and sticking and drawing WITHOUT little 'helpful' hands taking over and making it 'their' fun craft time is a rarity. I'm in my element...
