AN INSPIRED DAY

Three sure fire way to lift the mood of the better sex, a new credit card, George Clooney & a hair do, in the absence of the first two I drove dearest to get herself quaffed & pampered, thought it might take her mind off the afternoons hospital visit, as we had left home just after eight we ended up with a lot of time on our hands in the charms of Harrogate so took a very slow & leisurely lunch at Bettys (you’d be surprised just how long I can make a pot of tea last).
Got to Airedale Hospital for the appointed time and then had to wait for nearly an hour & a quarter due to staff shortages, the wait was worth it mind as the little lady has had it confirmed that her ‘mass’ (new fancy word for lump) wasn’t Cancerous, lovely to see the worry melt away, with that and the new hair do she looked fifteen years younger (I wish).
Some days are good days, some days are bad days, today has been outstanding.
