MY 'FIRE BUCKET' - FULL OF HOT ASH
I don't want big clumps of nettles cropping up where I've placed my bonfires in the woods, so the ash gets taken away before the wind spreads it all over. First it has to cool all night in the fire bucket. The same fire bucket is used during the day to carry hot embers from one existing bonfire to the next to light it.
In theory, I only need the one match at the start of the season to manage my bonfires, but the theory breaks down of course.
Most fire buckets just sit there, full of sand, ready to put any fires out - and NOTHING happens to them EVER. Not mine, this is a real fire bucket - a bit bashed up but it see some action - it has a full life.
