New snow on old

This old snow bank was happily melting away when the temps dropped and a fresh coat of snow fell. Here's hoping our forecasted warm weather melts it all away quickly.

The yellow spot on the tree bark is probably a death knell for this ash tree. Our city has recently been infested with the dreaded emerald ash borer and the city is cutting many ash trees in the terraces that are too small to save. Such a pity.
