Riding the javelinas

On our last day, we went with Nan and Aunt L to the desert museum. It was fascinating: we touched a king snake, and saw an owl, more snakes, frogs, some kind of 'tiger' that looked like a squirrel, javelinas, and coati (like monkeys). Here we are riding the model javelinas. Nan bought me a snake and Baby an owl.
It was pretty hot but I was fine. We were planning on going for a swim afterwards but after lunch and finally getting Baby into his car seat (why does he hate it so much?), my nap was late, so we just went straight to Auntie L's for dinner. Nan fell over so we had to call the fire brigade. They came without sirens but they did carry a bed in and Nan out.
