Cikcak

I gotta go out to do some shopping today, so it was a bonus when I found today’s blip in the bottom of my coffee jug amongst the dregs.

This is one of the many house geckos that live with me. Mosquitoes don’t last long in my house. They are called cikcak, pronounced chikchak, as this is the sound that they make, generally at night.

They are also the prime reason for keeping the tops on sauce bottles and keeping your dishes covered in the kitchen. They get everywhere and crap for Indonesia. Finding a rotting cikcak in the bottom of your sauce bottle is not one of life’s high points – I got the T-shirt.
