Shit day

Today I did the thing I am constantly telling people not to do. Do NOT write emails in the 'heat of the moment'. Disaster follows. Email is a terrible form of communication because, unless well written, it has no sense of 'voice' or tone. It has also has that ghastly quality of the Daily Mail, in that it doesn't take much to sound accusatory and/or pompous. My act of folly was minor and resolved with an apology the next day, but 'caveat emptor' I think .
