Reflections

On board a cruise ship on the Franklin river in south west Tasmania, we were privileged to be there at an early hour before the wind rose.
The reflection of the vegetation in the river, was a sight at which to marvel.
This part of Tasmania is known as a world heritage site with some of the trees, notable Huon Pine to be around three thousand years old.
Strahan, the nearest township exists now mainly on tourism, as the timber industry in this part has ceased except for carving and woodwork for the visitors.
Perfect day and fantastic photos.

Querie? Why is Strahan pronounced like brawn but with different spelling? Should be Strawn surely.
Strange language English!
