Normal service is resumed

Last night we dumped all the stuff from the car in the house, had a swift cup of tea and went to bed leaving all the clearing up and washing 'til today. So that was how we spent the morning, always a bit of a come down when you get home after a trip and are faced with sorting out and getting back into the routine.

The weather didn't help either as it was dull, grey and threatening rain - not like it had been in the last few days up in Cumbria. However, we managed to get out for a walk and got wetter than we had done the previous week as a blustery drizzle sheeted down into our faces as we were on the more exposed part of a path around Mote Park.

Although the water levels in the lake have fallen they remain higher than normal, continuing to provide the members of the the model boat club with a challenge to reach their dock and wet feet for those who want to sit on those benches.
