Gone but not forgotten

I walk through this village church yard most days and usually stop here to look at the grave stone for Elisabeth Oke, née Sillifant. She wasn't much older than I am now when she died. Alongside her are four of her children. She and William had 13 children in all, it would seem most died as babies, although I can't find details for a couple of them. Three children survived to older childhood. Samuel died in July 1852 age 13, Charlotte died in October 1852 age 14 and Thomas died January 1853 age 12. Her husband died 20 years after her in the market town of Holsworthy, 10 miles away, I guess he is buried there. It would seem they were only survived by one of their children, their second son, also William, who died 16 years after his father's death. Makes me ache every time I stop by her.
