Ranunculus

This lensbaby image was the best of my half dozen shots this afternoon. I've kept the flowers in their original arrangement though I'm trying to think of ways to arrange a still-life with more going on that just the flowers. I tried photographing in front of a blue-grey silk sari but the silk needs ironing and also was reflecting too much light this afternoon.

Coffee and a chat this morning then sweeping leaves and some house tidying and cleaning ready for the grandchildren's sleepover tomorrow.

An extra photographic meeting this evening to talk over strategies for developing photography in our region - at the moment the Yorkshire region doesn't do better than middling in national competitions/ exhibitions.
