Blipping from the Dangleway

Locally disparaged by some as the 'Dangleway', the Emirates Airline cable car was hailed by London Mayor Boris Johnson as a boon for London commuters, but it's apparently used daily by about seven regulars. Most users are tourists or very infrequent flyers, like me.

Each year, Ecobuild (a construction industry exhibition) takes place at ExCEL and the 'Dangleway' is - for one day - actually useful to me as a means of getting there from North Greenwich. If you don't mind heights or the occasional swaying in the wind, the views are - it has to be said - fantastic.
