Ground Zero

Up to NYC for 3 days

This was the view from the 22nd Floor office that we were based in whilst visiting NYC. The big hole in the ground is where the Twin Towers once stood, and where the Freedom Tower will stand.

I'm sure we all remember where we were on September 11th 2001 at 8:47EST. Whatever the rights and wrongs of the things done in the name of the people that perished that day, the site itself is still a potent reminder of that day and of the frailty of our existence.
