Spring is on it's way...

Firstly I must apologise for my brief absence from Blipland this week - that nasty lurgy came to haunt me and I ended up in bed for three days. Whilst I may have left the odd comment from the Ipad app, I couldn't face booting up the laptop to post an entry.

I went back to work today - possibly sooner than I should have - but it was my boss's last day today as he is moving on to pastures new, and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to say goodbye and give my best wishes.

As bosses go, he's been a pretty good one and I have to say I am sad to see him go, even though I understand his reasons.

This now leaves me with a really weird reporting structure as they haven't replaced him yet so I think it's going to be a tough few months, but time will tell. I just can't shake that saying that says "Better the devil you know..."

In the meantime I'm going to try to relax and enjoy the weekend, and hope that I'm feeling 100% asap
