A most unusual occurrence ..

I don't think I have ever before blipped a fox when I have other things I could have blipped!

But here is Mama fox - and she is due to give birth any time in the next ten days, and she has been moping about all day in the garden .. wandering here and there, then lying down for a nap ..

In the afternoon I went to a nature reserve and saw a rather lovely great crested grebe and this long-tailed tit.

They recently got sheep and one in particular is SO friendly .. he starts by staring rather threateningly .. but walks closer and closer and eventually is happy to be stroked!
