Going where ?

One of the tracks made by the tractor every time it comes into the field. You can see how muddy the field is, and I was taken by the way the 2 ruts are reflecting different colours - one reflecting the blue of the sky and the other, I think, is getting its colour from the mud at the edge. The crop is oilseed rape (again) which at the moment looks like tiny cabbage plants (same plant family). It won't be long before most of the country is covered with that bright yellow again.

I wish they would plant more linseed as that is the crop which has blue flowers making fields look like lakes of calm water from a distance.
