Moving with the times

I love reading. Katie probably reads more than anyone in our house. She always has her nose in a book. I have seen her read the same book many times and doesn't get bored of the story!
It was World Book Day this week. As you can imagine having a chance to buy a book from the book fair that came to school this week was a must for Katie.

She picked a Famous Five book. As a child Enid Blyton was my favourite author and I would read anything she wrote Secret Seven, Famous Five, Malory Towers, St Claires and many more!

Mr G and I commented on how the illustration on this new updated version had changed from when we were kids. Its so good to see classic books adapting for todays young generation.

Think I may just go and look out all my Enid Blyton copies and relive my youth!!
