Magnificent?

 It's great to have another hummer at my feeder!  Zippy appears to be ready to share.  At least he hasn't tried chasing away this larger species-which I think could be a Magnificent hummingbird.  I figure he must have been chasing just fellow Costa's this winter - more his size to bully!

In any event, I inadvertently got more shots of this long-, red-billed bird than I did of the Zipper today. I'll have to watch now for other species coming back from Mexico for Spring!

EDIT:  Check out one year ago today...another surgery.  Does it ever end?  LOL
