Feed the Kelvingrove slugs
Don't walk through the park at night they said. Maybe they were worried about stumbling over the bread. The inquisitive Jarve investigated and highlighted that this wasn't just crusts for the birds - there are crackers, breadsticks, rolls, white, brown - closer inspection of the photo shows rather a lot of slugs, that we didn't spot on the night.
Couldn't find a curry house to sit down in - until we hit the Ashoka.
Spent the early evening at the Venture Scotland presentation evening, hearing the entertaining stories of young folk from the city getting out doors and gaining Duke of Eds and Canoeing awards (along with a whole dose of greater personal things). Then spent some time with the volunteers and staff that make it happen - good stories, entertaining evening.
