The many faces of Fleet Street

A real piece of old Fleet Street history today. Not only a good reminder of the newspaper days, but also the site of Sweeney Todd's infamous barber shop. He is believed to have robbed and murdered over 150 customers right here on this site, making him London's number one killer. He was hanged at Newgate prison in 1802.

And his poor victims? Well, stop for a pie in his partner Mrs Lovett's nearby pie shop and think it through. But go vegetarian is my advice!!
