Only photo I took today :s Taken to remind me how much money I needed to bring in. Buying a boxset of Dick King Smith books in work.

My first proper books were DKS's Sophie series. I remember the night that my parents gave me the first of three that they had bought. I sat on the stool to read it, in front of the fridge while they cooked tea. I devoured the book really quickly, then stood up and asked for the next one. They were pretty amazed & tried to say that I should only have one a night. I remember pointing out that I knew they had two more :)

Always did love reading.
