One of a host

The beautiful daffodils in the churchyard of St Matthews Chapel always bloom early. They are looking lovely at the moment but of all the grand sweeping views I aimed for, this solitary one stood out.

It's been a pretty day. Some sunshine but nothing strong and powerful - just a dry and quiet Saturday to welcome the Spring.

I saw my surgeon this morning (the one who replaced my hip two and a half years ago). He was pleased. He said almost the same as last year - and that's great.
