Don't park your car by the sea

Parking is at a premium here and sometimes I have to park my car on the front. If the weather is ok then there isn't a thing to worry about. If the wind picks up - shift the thing. The distance between the road and the sea at high tide ranges from normal pavement width to a good 20 foot or so of pavement. It might not be terribly clear but the beach isn't really a beach ( I'm from Tenby, I know my beaches ...). It's more a cross between Lanzarote and Brighton (I have a previous blip which shows the 'beach'). When the sea gets choppy it picks up the tiny pebbles and hurls them at the cars. You learn quite quickly that you don't park by the narrow pavement unless you *really* don't have any other option. Well, even the widest part suffered today, the 20 odd foot of cobbles by the bandstand were carpeted in black pebbles. Seriously, about half an inch thick.

When I took this it was a little bit calmer, but I still got a mouthful of sea salt from the spray. Try saying that quickly ...
