DDW's March Vocabulary Challenge Day 8 : Delitescent

A slow start to the day today with a bit of a fuzzy head after drinkies with Emmy and Noel last night. HV and I lay listening to the wind and the rain and the dogs seemed happy to have a lie in this morning. We got up eventually and cleared the debris of the evening before heading across to my folks to collect Evie the Wonderdog and take her for a wander along the shore. Thankfully the rain had stopped and we had a dry walk, though we were buffeted by very strong winds. Back home and and a relaxed afternoon watching the rugby on the TV.
I got these flowers for HV yesterday, some of them are still to open - delitescent, latent, hiding their beauty for now...
