Gordon Highlanders

The boys and I had a fascinating time at the Auld Kirk Museum today chatting with the Gordon Highlanders living history group. Such lovely guys and so interesting.

They had so many artefacts that the boys could dress up in and handle. I think the Lee-Enfield short rifle was the favourite, shortly followed by the loo paper with a torn out hole in the middle (unused I might add!). Instructions as follows:

Insert your middle finger through the hole, then reach around to your nether-regions and use your finger to wipe away the offending matter. When finished, remove your finger from the torn out hole in the loo paper ensuring that you use the loo paper to clean your finger as you go.
